💡 Many trails need a SANParks conservation fee or a CapeNature permit paid at the gate or booked online, and the famous multi-day routes (Otter, Whale, Outeniqua) book out months ahead. Cape weather turns fast on the mountains and fynbos offers little shade — carry water, wind protection and check conditions.
